After beating Beast, I remember getting a quest item on an enemy in the first area, where there's some stairs leading down to the cellar. Same in the portal, there's a chest locked between the antechamber and a door locked with a chest inside next to the stairs in one of those chamber, enemies drop those keys.

I have keys for cellars and I WANT to talk to the guy whos arm you cut off in his laboratory but these things don't seem to exist at all, I've scoured EVERYWHERE but don't see ♥♥♥♥ for doors or pathways or anything.
